About the Role
We're seeking an experienced
Pipelayer
to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Melbourne's northern suburbs.
Working alongside experienced operators and supervisors, you'll play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Install stormwater, sewer, and water main pipelines to line, level, and project specifications.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade and alignment.
Work safely alongside excavators, skid steers, and other heavy plant, directing excavation and lifting operations.
Install pits, manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
Read construction plans and drawings, check levels,



and complete basic QA documentation.
Maintain a protected, clean worksite and comply with SWMS and site safety procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Proven experience as a pipelayer within civil construction.
Solid knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
Experience setting up and using pipe lasers.
Confidence working in and around trenches and heavy machinery.
A current White Card.
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
