Manage multiple wet and dry fire projects across commercial, industrial and data centre sectors. Lead project delivery, manage stakeholders, oversee subcontractors, control budgets and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and profitably. Suitable for experienced Fire Protection Project Managers or Senior Project Managers from contractor environments.

Atom Resources is partnering with a leading fire protection contractor to recruit both a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager as part of a significant growth phase.

Established in 2004, our client has built a solid reputation across NSW and Queensland, delivering wet fire, dry fire, design and maintenance solutions across major commercial, industrial and data centre developments.

The business employs approximately 245 staff, including 140 field technicians and more than 30 licensed electricians, and continues to expand its project delivery capability across high-profile projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will take ownership of multiple fire protection projects from planning through to completion.

The successful candidate will inherit a portfolio of primarily Data Centre and Commercial projects, managing project values typically ranging from $2M to $15M.

Candidates from either a trade-qualified or engineering-qualified background will be considered.

Duties

- Lead project planning and delivery activities
- Manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams




- Monitor project budgets, profitability and forecasting
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Manage project programmes and construction activities
- Ensure contractual and documentation compliance
- Prepare project reports and progress updates
- Participate in tender reviews and project planning
- Implement risk management and mitigation strategies
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Drive quality outcomes and client satisfaction

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience within the Fire Protection industry
- Experience delivering Wet Fire and/or Dry Fire projects
- Project Management experience within a contractor environment
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Commercial and financial management capability
- Experience managing subcontractors and project delivery teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
