About The Role
cohealth delivers integrated primary health, mental health, allied health and dental services to young people aged 12-24 at the Parkville Youth Justice Precinct. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse provides holistic, culturally responsive care including assessment, treatment, care planning, health education and service coordination in a 24/7 custodial healthcare environment. This role operates on a rotating roster across day, afternoon and night shifts.
Your Duties Include
- Undertake triage and screening of clients to ensure appropriate care and document their history.
- Perform physical examinations and provide clinical care as required and directed by GP.
- Administer medication and other treatment plans as ordered by medical staff.
- Educate patients and their families about their treatment plan and how to manage illnesses or injuries.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Bachelor of Nursing approved by the Nurses and Midwifery Board Australia, or equivalent paediatric experience.
- Strong belief and personal alignment with cohealth's values and mission.
