Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompting




- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families
- Accurately document care provided and communicate updates to the care partner team via your app
- Adhere to infection control and occupational health and safety procedures
- Monitor clients for changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour and report appropriately
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need

- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Manual Handling certificate, and Medication Assistance competency (highly regarded)
- Experience in healthcare or community support preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and caring approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle (this is a community-based role with travel between clients’ homes)
