The Role
The Technology Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Helpdesk and partnering with the Technology team to deliver high‑quality support to users across our Melbourne and Sydney offices, as well as those working remotely. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and service‑focused individual to contribute to a high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous support for technology‑related incidents and requests via phone, email and in person;
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues independently and in collaboration with the Technology team, including liaising with external service providers;
- Identify recurring issues for escalation and continuous improvement;
- Set up, configure and relocate technology equipment, maintaining accurate asset registers and records;
- Coordinate and support video and teleconferencing meetings and events, including presenter liaison and troubleshooting;
- Log,
monitor and appropriately elevate helpdesk tickets, equipment relocations and related tasks;
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Skills
Technical Skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Planner), Zoom and Document Management Systems;
- General understanding of computer‑based technologies, networking and applications;
- Windows and iOS operating systems knowledge;
- General technology troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot videoconferencing and teleconferencing equipment, including Zoom and Teams;
- Knowledge of cyber security is an advantage.
Professional Qualities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Technology or Cyber (graduates or candidates with up to two years’ experience);
- Strong customer service focus (experience desirable);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage competing demands;
- Strong problem‑solving skills, curiosity and attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and collaboratively;
- Solutions‑oriented mindset;
- Qualified services experience (desirable).
