RSPCA Victoria is a non-government, community-based, not-for-profit organisation whose vision is ‘ending cruelty to animals’. They are Victoria’s best-known and most respected animal welfare organisation and a Federation member of RSPCA. With the community, they achieve outstanding animal welfare through education, advocacy, and animal care and protection.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships, the Gifts in Wills Manager will lead the development and delivery of an effective bequest program that grows supporter engagement, strengthens donor relationships and secures future income to support RSPCA Victoria’s mission.

This is a key leadership role combining strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. You will lead and support a small team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture while providing guidance, coaching and day‑to‑day direction.

Alongside team leadership, you will drive stewardship and retention initiatives to grow our Gifts in Wills pipeline, while ensuring RSPCA Victoria delivers best-practice estate management. You will also oversee Home Ever After, our pet future planning program that supports pet owners and fosters long‑term Gifts in Wills engagement.

The Gifts in Wills Manager will play a critical role in setting program direction, managing budgets and reporting, and embedding continuous improvement across the program. Working cross‑functionally,



you will build strong internal relationships and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that enables teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for the organisation and its supporters.

About YOU

- Demonstrated experience in Gifts in Wills fundraising, including program development, donor acquisition and stewardship
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters with sensitivity and care
- Sound understanding of fundraising legislation, best practice and the principles of charitable giving
- Experience managing or overseeing estate administration
- Solid planning, budgeting and reporting capability, with a results‑focused approach
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience with CRM systems and data‑driven marketing approaches (Salesforce highly regarded)
