About the Opportunity
We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance & General Handyman to be an integral & important member of our team that keeps the resort guest-ready, secure, impeccably prepared & well maintained.
What you'll be doing:
Working alongside a close-knit maintenance team
Involved with delivering daily and preventative maintenance, upgrades and landscaping schedules
Assisting with maintaining building services — HVAC, aquatics, essential services and building management systems About you:
Recognised Trade Certificate — Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Mechanical, Refrigeration or Gas (essential)
Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role — hotel, resort or multi-site highly regarded
Current driver's licence and the physical fitness for hands-on work
Flexibility for a 7-day operation, including a weekend presence
What you’ll need to be successful
Previous experience and knowledge in a Maintenance/Groundsperson role in a resort, or similar environment
Drivers Licence, LR or MR truck licence
Tractor operation and towing experience, desirable
Pool maintenance, landscaping, gardening, irrigation knowledge & skills, highly desirable
Strong communication, time management, attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work well in a team or independently, performing active physical duties, including heavy lifting up to 20kgs
A positive attitude & approach to work, enthusiastic, flexible/adaptable & excellent personal presentation
