Grow your career in early childhood education with SDN Paddington. We are seeking a permanent part-time Educator (Certificate III or Working towards Certificate III or Diploma in early childhood education and care) to work across all rooms in a float position, supporting educators with programming, routines and daily room coverage. About The Role
As an Educator at SDN Paddington, you will work in a permanent part-time float role across all rooms, supporting educators and children throughout the day. This varied role is ideal for someone flexible, collaborative and passionate about creating safe, engaging and supportive learning environments.
In this role, you will:
- Work across all rooms in a versatile float position
- Support educators with programming, routines, lunch covers and room coverage
- Create safe, engaging and inclusive learning experiences for children
- Support children’s wellbeing, learning and development through daily interactions
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
About You
You are a flexible and enthusiastic educator who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
- Working towards Certificate III or Diploma or hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Have relevant experience in early childhood education, or a strong willingness to learn
- Are flexible to work any three days per week and across all rooms
- Understand the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, First Aid qualification and approved Child Protection training

What is it like to work with us?
Our recently renovated Paddington Centre has five indoor playrooms as well as two separate playgrounds. The Centre offers early childhood education and child-care for 89 children per day from birth to school age. We regularly take the children to the surrounding local art galleries for inspiration and creative arts.
