We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our People & Culture Team, based at either Brisbane (our Rocklea site) or Toowoomba. As a key member of the Team, you will support the broader HR Services function.

About the role

To be successful in this role you will:

Play a key role in providing high-quality support during our enterprise agreement negotiations and implementation

Coordinate corporate wide programs such as annual performance reviews and employee benefits and recognition initiatives, annual People & Culture events, and job and careers exhibition activities

Focus on providing strong governance, compliance and access controls around daily HR practices and systems

Help identify and recommend appropriate learning and development solutions that meet organisational needs

Contribute to broader HR projects

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline

Experience interpreting enterprise agreements and related legislation, preferably in an industrial or blue-collar environment





Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, specifically the NES, Awards and Enterprise Agreements

Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with a strong tendency to connect and build relationships

Someone who thrives on variety and works with sound judgement

Creative in identifying opportunities, and solutions focussed mindset
