As an Electrical Engineer, you will assist NSW customers with commissioning upgrade/update of electrical instrumentation systems.
The objective is to minimize customer downtime and increase customer satisfaction with Endress+Hauser instrumentation, electrical equipment and services in an efficient, safe, quality and cost-effective manner.
Role
- Responsibilities: Apply high level of competence in all aspects of industrial instrumentation, circuit devices, transmission lines and other equipment, with an in-depth knowledge of the extensive range of Endress Hauser instruments in particular
- Manage resources used in the supply of electrical components, machines, appliances and industrial electric equipment
- Root cause problem analysis and resolution on site using instrumentation expertise and electrical engineering knowledge
- Implement WHS safe practices
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of industrial plants, power stations, machinery and the processes monitored and controlled by process instrumentation is essential
- Highly skilled practical hands-on ability is essential as Australia-wide site service and workshop repair work is often required
- Commissioning industrial plants and power stations
- Good supervisory skills are required as the position involves supervision of service support work carried out on-site by engineers, repair work carried out by the workshop technicians and sub-contractors
- Sound knowledge and experience using Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
- Keep up to date with techniques and technologies in the process instrumentation/process control industry
- Provide training to customer maintenance staff on maintenance, repair, commissioning of Endress+Hauser instrumentation
- Professional interaction with customer and its representatives; “ownership” of issues and escalation when appropriate

Skills
- Experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar or like role
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical and/or Industry experience or knowledge would be ideal
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship development skills
- Highly organized with good attention to detail
- Team player but able to work independently
- SAP and CRM tool (Salesforce) would be highly regarded
- Keeping up to date with our existing and new instrumentation products
