We operate approximately 4.2 hectares of plastic greenhouses in Walkaway and an additional 2 hectares of plastic greenhouses at the family’s original farm.

We are currently expanding our operations, having purchased 60 acres of land near Walkaway to support future growth and long-term sustainability. Position Summary

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the protected and efficient operation of forklifts to transport, load, unload and store fresh produce, packaging materials and farm supplies across NVD Fresh Produce’s farming and packing operations. The role supports efficient production, inventory management and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift Operations

- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload and transport fresh produce, pallets and agricultural supplies.
- Move products between packing sheds, cool rooms, storage areas and loading zones.
- Stack and store products in accordance with workplace procedures.

Warehouse and Farm Support





- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Perform routine forklift safety inspections and basic daily maintenance.
- Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
- Assist with inventory movement and stock control.

Workplace Safety

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of products and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members.

Skill & Experience

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should possess one of the following:

- A relevant AQF Certificate II qualification (or equivalent) together with at least 1.5 years (20+ hpw) relevant post-qualification employment experience; or
- A relevant AQF Certificate III qualification (or equivalent) together with at least 1 year (20+hpw) relevant post-qualification employment experience; or
- At least 2 years full-time relevant employment experience as a Forklift Driver.

In addition, applicants should demonstrate:

- Experience operating forklifts safely in a commercial farming, warehouse or logistics environment.
- A current Australian High Risk Work Licence (LF) is required.
- Ability to load, unload, stack and transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ability to perform routine forklift safety inspections and report equipment faults.
- Ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
