As our People Experience Advisor, you’ll get the chance to work across a broad range of people initiatives that shape how employees experience life at Aussie Broadband. From onboarding and learning campaigns to engagement, communications, systems and culture projects, this is a varied, hands-on opportunity to build your confidence, broaden your skills and make a visible impact across the business.

This is not a narrow People and Culture role. You’ll be trusted to get involved in meaningful work across employee experience, learning, engagement, communications, onboarding, systems and project delivery. You’ll gain exposure to different teams and leaders, see how people initiatives come to life in a fast-moving business, and build the practical experience that can set you up for the next step in your People and Culture career.

Let’s talk about you
What you’ll get involved in
- Employee experience projects: Help design and deliver initiatives that support people through key moments that matter, build capability and engagement and help bring the Aussie Way values and behaviours to life. Uplifting our hybrid and flexible work approach is an example of one of the projects you’ll take the lead on within the first 6 months.
- Onboarding and induction: Support new starter experiences and help refresh content so it feels useful, engaging, and aligned to Aussie’s priorities.
- Communications and content: Create updates, resources, videos, SharePoint content, and engaging social-style communications that help that bring people initiatives to life and our people navigate change.
- Learning and capability: Create and promote learning content, campaigns and practical tools that help people build capability.
- Systems and insights: Help administer platforms such as Achievers and Peakon, supporting quality outputs and continuous improvement.
About you
You don’t need to be an expert to thrive in this role, but you’ll bring some relevant experience, curiosity, and the confidence to get involved. We’re looking for someone who is organised, people-focused, and ready to build their career in People Experience.
What you’ll bring
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication skills.
- Some experience or exposure in employee experience, learning, culture, engagement, communications, project coordination, or a related People and Culture area.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
- A collaborative style and willingness to learn from others.
- Confidence using digital tools to create clear, engaging content such as Canva, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Workday Learning, Articulate, Rise, or Storyline, or the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Experience in telco, customer-focused, operational, or fast-paced environments would be helpful.
- Experience and qualifications in HR, learning, communications, project management or coordination, facilitation would be helpful, but not essential.
What you’ll learn, build and be exposed to
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering employee experience initiatives that reach teams across the business.
- The chance to build creative capability through internal communications, learning content, campaigns and digital resources.
- Exposure to onboarding, induction and other key employee moments that influence how people connect with Aussie Broadband.
- Practical experience using employee listening, recognition, learning and HR platforms to support better people outcomes.
- Opportunities to coordinate projects across different teams, stakeholders and business priorities.
- Support to grow your confidence in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, problem solving and practical delivery.
