The Opportunity
Due to internal growth, we are seeking a motivated individual to take up a full-time administration role in our Bridges Recoveries Team in our Sydney CBD office.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had some exposure to working in an office and is just beyond entry level. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment, have a keen eye for the smaller details and be looking to build a long-term career in a law firm.
As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will play an important role in assisting with the day-to-day administration of matters and supporting solicitors, paralegals, and clients across a high-volume practice.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring and diarising key dates, deadlines and court appearances
Logging, tracking and updating information across multiple matters
Liaising professionally with clients, courts and third parties via phone and email
Preparing, organising and maintaining electronic and hard copy files
Reviewing and processing incoming invoices and payment-related correspondence
Assisting with the preparation and management of legal documentation
Preparing summary reports for various clients
Managing shared and individual email inboxes
Creating, maintaining and archiving matters in our practice management systems
Providing general office and team administration duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
An ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
An ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills and initiative
Professional manner and presentation
Previous exposure to an office workplace is valued. Exposure to legal services is advantageous but not necessary.

Additional Information
Full-time, in office position based in Sydney CBD
Standard hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday
This is a long-term administration role and is not suitable for students expecting to move into another role within the next 1–2 years
Applicants must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
Renumeration will be commensurate with experience
