Cairns Dental Boutique is seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
Located in the beautiful suburb of Edge Hill, our up-to-date practice overlooks the lush mountains of Cairns and is just a short stroll from the Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a fantastic tropical lifestyle with the Great Barrier Reef, rainforest and outdoor adventures right on your doorstep.
Our practice combines advanced technology with a genuinely supportive team environment. Equipped with CEREC, a TRIOS Scanner, an in-house dental laboratory, CBCT/OPG imaging, intraoral scanners and Dentally Practice Management Software with AI features, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment while continuing to develop your skills.
Whether you're an experienced Dental Assistant or have recently completed your Certificate III in Dental Assisting, we'll provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A caring, compassionate and professional approach
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

About the Role
As a valued member of our team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care while supporting our clinicians in a busy, modern practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Chairside assisting across a variety of dental procedures
Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards
Providing outstanding patient care before, during and after treatment
Assisting with dental radiographs, impressions and clinical procedures
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
