of WA. This is no ordinary station – we operate to the standard of a five-star resort, offering a unique opportunity to live and work in a truly exceptional workplace.
As Head Gardener, you'll take ownership of the gardens, grounds and outdoor infrastructure of the property, working with a small team of horticulturists and a dedicated greenkeeper to maintain beauty, order and functionality. This is more than a traditional gardening role – one day you might be developing feature gardens or coordinating irrigation repairs, the next servicing machinery, managing water infrastructure (pumps/bores/RO plant) or preparing outdoor settings for special events and visiting guests. If you enjoy variety and take pride in presenting a property to a high standard, you'll lead the way.
This is a permanent, live-in role.
Private accommodation, all meals, and flights from Perth to the station on commencement are provided. Please note, no animals are permitted.
What You'll Do
Take charge of beautiful, evolving garden landscapes on a world-class outback cattle station.
Maintain gardens, lawns, trees and landscaped areas to an exceptional standard.
Manage turf, irrigation, fertilising, pest and weed control, plant health, and planting projects.
Undertake general grounds maintenance, including minor repairs to sheds, fencing, fixtures and outdoor infrastructure.
Manage site wide water infrastructure inclusive of pumps, bores, tanks & RO plant.
Operate, service and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment.




Lead a small team and work closely with contractors and management.
Prepare and present outdoor spaces for station events, functions and visiting guests.
Plan workloads and seasonal maintenance programmes.
Adhere to relevant health and safety practices.
Complete additional duties as requested from time to time.

What You'll Bring
A qualification and/or demonstrated experience in horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or similar.
Leadership or supervisory experience.
Mechanical aptitude, with practical experience in property maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and planning skills.
A readiness to live remotely and contribute to a strong team culture.
A current manual driver's licence (HR licence is a bonus).
A positive, proactive attitude with a love for physical work and variety
