We are currently seeking a self-motivated Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer to join our Transport Division in Maryborough or Rockhampton Qld.

This position presents an exciting chance for experienced HC/MC drivers seeking a current challenge. If you reside within the Fraser Coast and Central Queensland Regions, we would like to hear from you!

About the Role:
As a Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer at SDS Training, you will deliver high-quality driver training in the Transport sector. The role involves training candidates during the week, with occasional weekend training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver driver training to students in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Assess students' driving skills ,



providing constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality training and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Provide hands-on training in heavy vehicle operations , ensuring that students are prepared for real-world challenges in the transport industry.

Skills & Experience Required:

HRO, HC or MC unrestricted driver’s license (essential).

Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction (Specialisation B – Heavy Vehicle) (essential).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving in the transport industry.

Excellent communication and presentation skills , with the ability to deliver clear and engaging training sessions.

A strong focus on safety , compliance , and industry best practices.
