Freight Allocator & Administration Officer
to join our growing team.
For the right candidate, this position can be offered on either a
full-time or part-time basis
, providing flexibility to suit your experience and lifestyle.
About the Role
This role is centred around planning and coordinating our daily truck runs to ensure freight is allocated efficiently, vehicles are utilised to their full capacity and customer delivery requirements are met.
Working closely with drivers, customers and our operations team, you'll play a key role in keeping our transport operation running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and allocating daily freight across multiple truck runs.
Maximising vehicle utilisation and load efficiency.
Coordinating pickup and delivery schedules.
Liaising with drivers regarding daily runs and changes throughout the day.
Working with customers to ensure freight is delivered on time.
Preparing run sheets and transport documentation.
Completing general administration and accurate data entry.
Assisting with customer enquiries and providing exceptional service.
About You




We're looking for someone who is:

A confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office in particular excel.
A proactive problem solver with a positive attitude.
Committed to providing outstanding customer service.
Previous experience in transport allocation, logistics, dispatch or scheduling is highly regarded, however we are also open to applicants with strong administration skills who are eager to learn.
