The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders including executive stakeholders responsible for Product and Technology functions. This is a highly visible role where success comes from anticipating challenges before they arise, using data to inform decisions and providing commercially sound people advice that supports growth, engagement and performance. You will have a genuine seat at the table, partnering with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, leadership capability, employee relations and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with executive and senior leaders across Product, Engineering and Design functions
Coach leaders through growth, change and people challenges
Lead complex employee relations matters and provide practical risk-based advice
Manage award interpretation, employment compliance, employee relations, contracts and WHS obligations




Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Use AI tools and technology to improve reporting, automate processes and generate workforce insights
Influence decision-making through evidence-based recommendations
Support workforce planning, talent development and organisational design initiatives
Drive HR projects focused on scalability, process improvement and employee experience
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams to deliver a seamless employee lifecycle
About You
4+ years' experience as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or People & Culture Business Partner
Experience within a SaaS, technology or high-growth organisation is essential
Strong understanding of Product and Engineering environments, including agile ways of working
Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work requirements, awards and WHS
Demonstrated capability managing employee relations matters independently
Confident influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders
Robust commercial acumen with the ability to link people outcomes to business performance
Experience using workforce analytics and people data to drive decisions
Practical experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting or workforce insights
What's On Offer
Competitive salary between $140k - $170k + super depending on experience
