An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join a well-established Chartered Accounting firm in Cairns.

Duties
The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various group structures consisting of companies, individuals, partnerships and trusts
Preparation of BAS,



IAS and GST reconciliations
Preparation of FBT returns
Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a
Liaising with clients, the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Applicants
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Considering candidates with approximately 2 years experience and up in public practice accounting
CA/CPA studying, qualified or looking to commence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Solid commitment to ethics, quality service and client relationships
