Toronto Private Hospital is seeking an experienced permanent part time Hospital In Charge, working weekends and after-hours. The role can be adaptable with option to job share (plus leave coverage), working afternoon shift Monday-Friday. The duties are versatile according to the requirements of the hospital e.g. taking on an occasional patient loadwhen occupancy is low.

Toronto Private Hospital is a part of the Aurora Health Care Group and is a 105 bed private hospital located on the western side of Lake Macquarie, 30 minutes from Gosford, Maitland and Newcastle. The hospital is a 105 bed facility, with inpatient rehabilitation, medical, palliative and mental health, plus outpatient services.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Robust leadership and decision making skills




At least 5 years clinical experience Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
A sound knowledge of local networks, facilities and service providers
Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Previous experience working after hours in charge of hospitalor management role.
Motivated and energetic team player.
Previous experience working with a broad patient case mix
