Monarch Building Consultants is looking for an experienced building consultant to join us on a contractor basis, delivering building assessments, roof inspections, causation reports, and specialist inspections across South East Queensland. You'll run your own schedule, work smarter with a genuine tech focus behind you, and take real pride in reports that are simply good and easy for anyone to understand.
We're after someone who turns complex findings into clear, accessible writing. Our whole approach is built on making building science and causation logic land in plain language, for insurers, loss adjusters, builders, and the Insured alike. You'll work independently across our service area, delivering high quality reports and taking pride in making tricky technical findings land in plain language.
This is a contractor arrangement with flexible hours, project based work, and competitive rates for the right fit.
Key Selling Points

Work alongside someone who has walked and succeeded on both sides of the insurer and builder relationship in senior management positions.
Consistent volume of 15 to 20 reports per week, with the ability to scale up during peak periods.
Tech and innovation focused, powered and operated using Prime Eco. If you have a better, more productive way of reaching our core goal of simply good reports, with the target receivers of our reports firmly front and centre of mind, then you're the person for this role.
Manage your own schedule and work with pure flexibility, running your own calendar while ensuring KPIs are met on each and every claim.

You'll likely have
A qualification in building and construction
A sound working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA)
Your own tools and vehicle
A track record writing high quality, defensible reports
