We're partnering with a well-supported regional hospital in
NSW
, to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist for a locum contract of up to
13 weeks
. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established pharmacy team, gain valuable ward-based experience, and enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule.
What's on offer
Up to 13-week locum contract
Full time hours - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Supportive team environment with up to nine other pharmacists
On-site accommodation where available, or accommodation within 4-5km of the hospital
Opportunity to work across both dispensary and ward-based clinical services
Immediate start available
The Role
As part of a collaborative hospital pharmacy team, you'll provide clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards while supporting dispensary operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Medication reconciliation
Clinical medication reviews
Medication verification
Ward-based clinical pharmacy services
Working within iPharmacy and/or EPIC dispensing systems
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Current General AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
Previous Australian hospital pharmacy experience (essential)
Experience providing ward-based clinical pharmacy services
Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
Experience with iPharmacy and/or EPIC is advantageous but not essential
