Whilst studying a Certificate III in Electrotechnology working with Peabody Energy over 4 years, you’ll have the chance to work on:
General maintenance on mining machinery/equipment/site
Read electrical diagrams, drawings, or specifications to determine job requirements
Test, locate, and repair electrical faults
Service and repair existing mining equipment
Assist in general duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence, and ability of an apprentice.

You’re reliable and ready to give your best each day.
Strong mathematic ability.
Enjoy maintaining physical fitness.
Ability to attend 8-week TAFE course commencing January 2027

Must-haves -
Current drivers licence (provisional or above)
White Card
Willingness to undergo a Coal Board Order 45 Medical, Functional, and Respirator Fit Test
