Teacher of English
Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Teacher of English (Years 7-12) at our South Yarra campus. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing in Term 1, ****.
This role will see you
Inspire and foster a passion and appreciation of learning in our students.
Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers.
Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth.
Support the individual wellbeing of our students through our pastoral care programs.
You will
Have experience teaching English and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12.
Work in partnership to deliver the exceptional educational experiences we offer our students.
Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student's intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth.
Use your skills to actively contribute to co-curricular activities.
VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential.

This role is based at our South Yarra campus where our Senior School welcome around 850 boys in Years 9 – 12 each day and our Wadhurst campus, comprises 400 boys in Years 7 and 8 where they make the transition from primary to secondary education in an setting designed with their needs in mind.
