Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to support a large-scale data migration program for a leading health insurance client.
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for planning, executing, and governing the migration of complex health insurance datasets while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
The Data Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to manage data migration activities across multiple source and target systems.
The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of health insurance data domains, with a solid focus on reconciliation, validation, and variance management.Key Roles And ResponsibilitiesLead and own end‐to‐end data migration activities across health insurance datasets including claims, memberships, and reference dataAct as a hands‐on Data Lead, contributing directly to SQL development, data analysis, reconciliation, and issue resolutionDefine and execute data migration strategies, including data mapping, and transformation rulesDesign, review, and optimise ETL migration and validation activitiesPerform data validation, reconciliation,



and variance analysis between source and target systemsSupport delivery and validation of regulatory and statutory reporting post‐migrationIdentify, investigate, and resolve data defects and inconsistencies, providing clear explanations to stakeholdersEstablish and enforce data quality controls, governance standards, and migration best practicesCollaborate with business, actuarial, finance, IT, and compliance teams to ensure migration outcomes meet business and regulatory requirementsMentor and guide data engineers and analysts involved in the migration programExperience RequiredProven experience in a Data Lead or Senior Data role, with a strong focus on data migration within the health insurance domainStrong hands‐on expertise in SQL, data analysis, and reconciliation techniquesDemonstrated experience delivering large‐scale data migrations, including mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover supportSolid understanding of health insurance concepts such as claims, memberships, premiums, and regulatory reportingExperience working in regulated or compliance‐driven environmentsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
