About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Fitter to support operations at our Rochedale site. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades
Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with CHEP standards
Maintain workshop safety and uphold 5S standards
Identify prospects to improve maintenance practices and equipment reliability
Participate in site meetings and collaborate with operations teams

About You
Trade qualified in mechanical disciplines
Restricted Electrical License (preferred but not essential)
Experience in industrial or production maintenance




Experience working with Boilers (preferred)Experience working with a HACCP system (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Adaptable and solutions-focused approach
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
