and customer preferencesSetting prices for merchandise to achieve required profit margins while ensuring compliance with liquor restrictionsAchieve financial targets and develop budgets.Selecting suppliers and vendors and placing stock orders within budgetOverseeing promotional activities and ensuring effective presentation of productsSetting customer service objectives and ensuring high service standards are maintainedManaging team.Ensuring the store operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant laws, policies, and proceduresSkill & ExperienceTo be considered for this role, applicants should have:At least 3 years of full time or part time equivalent experience in retail management, preferably within liquor retail or a similar customer-facing retail environmentA relevant diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a qualificationStrong knowledge of retail operations, stock control, pricing, sales, and customer serviceAbility to analyse sales trends and customer preferencesStrong communication, leadership, and organisational skillsAbility to manage suppliers, budgets, promotions, and day-to-day store operationsUnderstanding of liquor retail compliance requirements
