This is a permanent opportunity working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.
The role may be FIFO from Perth to Leonora, drive‐in drive‐out from Kalgoorlie, or residential in Leonora.ResponsibilitiesShort‐term mine designDrill and blast designMining evaluation, reconciliation and reportingPreparation of monthly and quarterly development and production schedulesSchedule and monitor short‐term planningCoordinate open‐pit production activitiesLiaise with relevant personnel to ensure production plans are executed effectively to optimise ore extractionProduction reportingCoordinate daily with the OP mining in‐house contractorMonitor and assess geotechnical action plansUndertake productivity and equipment utilisation improvement studiesQualificationsTertiary qualification in Mining EngineeringHigh level of computer literacy with sound understanding of MS Office suite, and competent use of mine design and planning software (Deswik highly regarded)Post‐graduate experience in Open‐Pit miningQuarry Manager ticket or working towards one desirableHigh level of personal organisational and communication skillsCompanyGenesis Minerals is a current ASX‐listed gold house focused on the Leonora District of Western Australia.
