Centre Manager

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager who leads with purpose, integrity and heart. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, mentoring educators, and being an active part of children’s learning journeys. You’ll be passionate about outdoor education, learning through play and slow pedagogy, and committed to creating an environment where children, families and educators flourish.

About Our Centre

Our 80‑place service is set within a vibrant, nature‑based setting. Children spend their days caring for chickens, ducks and turkeys, growing produce in an enclosed vegetable garden, creating in a clay studio and developing practical skills in a dedicated tool workshop. Every fortnight, educators lead excursions to Kimberley Park Forest through our Kindergarten Rangers program, encouraging curiosity, resilience and a deep connection with the natural world. We also provide before and after school care for Kimberley Park State School and work closely with families and the wider community.

Qualifications
Full unrestricted Australian working rights
Minimum of a Diploma in Children’s Services (a Bachelor of ECE will be highly regarded)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Centre Manager position
Current, valid Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card)
Current Senior First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Availability to work any shift between 6:30 am–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
