The Wooli Tavern Venue Manager - Phillip IslandThis is a full-time Venue Manager role based in the picturesque town of Cape Woolamai on Phillip Island, Victoria.
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations and management of The Wooli Tavern, a popular hospitality establishment in the heart of the local community.What you'll be doingManage all day-to-day operations of the tavern, ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming environmentOversee a team of hospitality staff, providing leadership, training and supportManage financial responsibilities including budgeting, inventory control and cash handlingImplement marketing and promotional strategies to attract current customers and retain existing onesEnsure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing, health and safety regulationsIdentify and action opportunities for business growth and improvementWhat we're looking forMinimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar venue management role within the hospitality industryStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide a positive guest experienceSound financial management skills, including budgeting,
