If so, we want to meet you.Our client is an expanding manufacturing business operating in the food and pharmaceutical industry, and we're looking for a proactive, energetic, people-focused Safety, People & Site Coordinator to become the go-to person of the Melbourne site.This is not your typical WHS role.This is a rare opportunity to combine workplace safety, people & culture, facilities management, training coordination, and operational support in one highly visible and rewarding position.You'll work closely with the Site Manager and be supported by the People & Culture team, playing a key role in shaping the employee experience while ensuring the site runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.What You'll Be DoingChampion SafetyLeading WHS initiatives, inspections, risk assessments and incident managementCoordinating return-to-work programs and injury managementDelivering inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness programsSupporting audits, compliance activities and emergency preparednessEnsuring people go home safe every daySupport People & CultureCoordinating onboarding, inductions and compliance requirementsSupporting recruitment and employee administration processesMaintaining HR records, training matrices and employee documentationAssisting with wellbeing, engagement and culture initiativesBeing a trusted first point of contact for employee supportKeep The Site Running SmoothlyManaging contractors, maintenance providers and essential servicesCoordinating waste, cleaning, pest control,



utilities and site upkeepMaintaining shared spaces and workplace amenitiesManaging site consumables and operational suppliesHelping ensure the site remains qualified, compliant and well-presentedDrive Training & Operational ExcellenceCoordinating GMP, safety and compliance trainingMaintaining training records and documentation systemsSupporting SOPs, work instructions and quality documentationAssisting production, warehouse, engineering, quality and supply chain teamsContributing to ongoing improvement initiatives across the siteAbout YouHold a Certificate IV in Work Health & SafetyHave experience in WHS coordination within manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical or similar environmentsEnjoy balancing safety, people and operational responsibilitiesAre highly organised and able to juggle multiple prioritiesBuild strong relationships and communicate confidently at all levelsTake initiative and love solving problems before they become problemsBring a practical, hands on approach and aren't afraid to roll up your sleevesHandle confidential information with professionalism and integrityWhy Join?
