Nepean Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurses to join our ICU Team on a permanent part time role.
Casual roles are available too.
You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.About usNepean Private Hospital is in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith.
The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since **** including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics.
Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.Nepean Private Hospital has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement.
Key to the hospital's success is a highly skilled and expert team of staff who are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities.As a Registered Nurse – Cardiology/ICU, your responsibilities will include:Deliver safe,



researched-based standards of nursing careProvide complex and multi-disciplinary careWork collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeSupervise, direct and support nursing team membersDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsSupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careAuthority to Work in AustraliWorking with Children check (if relevant)Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRAHave completed a recent graduate yearPost Graduate Certificate in Cardiac or ICU (or working towards)Clinical experience in an ICU or cardiology environmentCurrent Advanced life support (or willing to obtain)Compliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous impSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedWhy Healthscope?
