Ashgail Rehabilitation Services – Bentleigh VICConduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in clients' homes, schools, workplaces and community settings.Develop individualised, goal-focused therapy plans based on client needs and priorities.Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve independence, participation and quality of life.Assess functional capacity across activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), mobility, cognition, sensory processing and community participation.Prescribe and recommend assistive technology and equipment where clinically appropriate.Complete home environment assessments and provide recommendations for home modifications.Support clients with upper limb rehabilitation, fine motor skills, sensory regulation, cognitive strategies and functional independence.Provide falls prevention strategies and environmental risk assessments.Educate clients, families and carers to maximise therapy outcomes and independence.Monitor progress and review intervention plans to ensure goals remain relevant and achievable.Key ResponsibilitiesAbout the RoleAs a community-based Occupational Therapist,
