We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Transport Compliance Officer to join our team based in Epping, VIC.This role is responsible for maintaining and managing our database of compliance documents for subcontractor trucks working across construction sites throughout Melbourne.
You will play an important role in ensuring all subcontractors, trucks, drivers, insurances, and safety requirements are up to date before vehicles are allocated to jobs.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update compliance records for subcontractors, trucks, and driversEnsure all required documents, insurances, inductions, and safety records are current and accurately capturedMonitor contractor compliance and ensure only compliant trucks are allocated to projectsCommunicate with subcontractors to request, follow up, and verify compliance documentationAssist with inbound and outbound calls relating to truck and contractor complianceSupport allocations by confirming truck compliance before jobs are assignedMaintain accurate records in internal systems and databasesAssist with NHVR compliance requirements, including fatigue, mass, maintenance, and vehicle standardsReview RIW, 3D Safety, insurance,



and other site-specific compliance requirementsWork closely with the operations and allocations team to support safe and compliant transport operationsAbout YouPrevious experience in transport compliance, logistics, truck operations, safety, or a similar compliance‐based role is requiredA relevant qualification in transport, logistics, compliance, workplace health and safety, business administration, or a related field is requiredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a fast‐paced environmentProfessional phone manner and solid communication skillsAbility to build rapport with subcontractors, drivers, clients, and internal team membersConfident using computers, databases, and online compliance systemsUnderstanding of insurances, RIW, 3D Safety, or similar systems is highly regardedKnowledge of NHVR laws is preferredExperience in trucks, logistics, allocations, safety, or compliance is highly regardedAbility to multi‐task and manage competing prioritiesAbout Our TeamOur team is versatile, supportive, and works closely together to keep trucks moving safely and compliantly across Melbourne construction sites.We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, experienced, and eager to grow with the business while building a career in transport compliance and operations.
