OverviewCSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time First Engineer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.
This operation is based in the Bass Strait.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the First Engineer is responsible for the delegation of maintenance and repair tasks to other Engineering Officers including themselves.What do you gain by working with us?

The First Engineer Will Be Responsible ForAssisting the Chief Engineer in identifying deficiencies in proceduresBeing the Senior Officer in charge of daily Engine Room and maintenanceProviding guidance and assistance to the less experienced Engineers and coordinates the Engine Room training programs for new entrants and Engineer CadetsEnsuring all spare part usage is recorded within the computer PMS system on a daily basisThe Skills You Will Bring To Our TeamBasic RequirementsEducational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer Class 2 ( required)AMSA Engineer (Class 2)
