About the role:
Conduct regulatory litigation across NCAT and the NSW courts.
Draft court documents, submissions, advices and correspondence.
Investigate allegations of unqualified legal practice.
Gather evidence, prepare witnesses and brief counsel where required.
Work closely with internal regulatory, investigations and professional standards teams.
The ideal candidate:
An admitted lawyer with a current practicing certificate
Experience in litigation, regulatory enforcement, professional discipline, investigations or a comparable disputes practice
Sound judgment and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple matters
A clear understanding of procedural fairness, skilled obligations and model litigant standards
The ability to communicate persuasively, objectively and professionally.
Solid stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style.
