We are seeking an experienced GCP Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have solid experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, DevOps, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Manage and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, IAM, and VPC.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform .
Build and support Kubernetes platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) .
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security using cloud-native monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
Implement cloud security controls, governance policies, and access management.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and platform optimization initiatives.

Required Skills




5+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and containerized workloads.
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Strong understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build .
Hands-on experience with Docker and container technologies.
Solid knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, and DNS.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Valuable understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance controls.

Preferred Skills
Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and cloud-native data services.
Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices.
Experience with Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
