Joining Qualified Fabrications means becoming part of a skilled and close-knit team that delivers specialised fabrication services on diverse and challenging projects, transforming our clients' ideas into reality.Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a highly experienced First Class Fabricator to join our team at our Altona workshop.About the RoleAs a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly and welding of custom sheet metal products to precise specifications.
Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet exacting standards and exceed customer expectations.This role is primarily workshop-based in Altona, with occasional site work involving installation, fabrication and maintenance activities.About YouWe are seeking a motivated and reliable tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality work and contributing to a positive team environment.To be successful, you will ideally possess:Trade qualifications in Fabrication, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar fabrication roleStrong experience in MIG and TIG weldingProven sheet metal fabrication experience (essential)The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerancesA strong understanding of quality standards,



accuracy and consistencyExperience operating fabrication equipment, including press brakes and laser cutting machinery (advantageous, but training can be provided)The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a teamStrong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementExceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipA commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environmentA High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is advantageous but not essentialWhy Join Qualified Fabrications?
