You will be performing breakdown servicing on conveyors, motors, control systems, Allen Bradley PLC's and trouble-shooting HMI issues.It's not your normal industrial electrician role.
It will also involve some real hands-on fitting work.
Exposure to PLC's, pneumatics, proximity and instrumentation of all kinds, automation on a complex scale is significant to be successful.




The role also has projects from time to time where lateral thinking and a smart mind will enjoy the challenges.Key Responsibilties:Perform preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance promptly,including after-hours support when requiredPerform mechanical maintenance when requiredProvide input into job estimates and maintain accurate maintenance recordsCollaborate with the Operations team regarding daily plant inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, site audits, and operational feedbackFollow all policies and procedures, having a strong safety mindsetAbout you:Strong, relevant experience as a qualified Electricianin industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or heavy plant environmentsExperience with PLC & HMI programming (Allen Bradley – RS Logix ******** preferred) essentialPractical experience with SCADA systems and other industrial control or monitoring softwareStrong computer literacy and knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. MEX)Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of AS**** and safe work practicesExcellent organisational and planning skillsSelf-motivated, able to work independently and within teamsQualificationsElectrician License (essential)Elevated Work Platform (EWP) / Scissor Lift ticket (highly desirable)Forklift License (highly desirable)
