Help us help others toimprove their access, development, independence, and overall health and wellbeing, and function.As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing support to participants, carers and families int he followign ways.You'll be doing things like:Evaluating, developing & delivering evidence-based support plansCreating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support frameworkBuilding capacity in the people who support our participants, families, carers, friends, support workersWorking alongside a brilliant multidisciplinary teamChampioning the reduction (and elimination!) of restrictive practicesAnd, because we like to keep it real:This is NOT a stepping stone to becoming a psychologist.It's a meaningful, legitimate, highly skilled career all on its own.You'll thrive with us if you:Have a degree in OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Social Work or similarLive within a 20 minute radius of either MeltonHave experience reading or creating,
implementing or reviewing behaviour support plansHave a genuine passion for disability supportHave experience working with challenging behavioursLove working with humans AND are competent with writing reprots (Yes, therewillbe paperwork)What's In It For You?
