About the role
Flat Packs By Design is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker and Cnc machinist to join our growing team in Cockburn Central, Western Australia.
This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsperson to contribute to the design and manufacture of high-quality custom cabinets and furniture.
Candidates must hold permanent resident status in Australia to be eligible for this position.
What you'll be doing
Manufacturing of cabinets ready for install
Operation of various machinery, hand and power tools
Experience operating cabinet-making machinery is required for this role
Collaborating with the design team to develop cutting-edge cabinet and furniture solutions
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior cabinet makers and apprentices
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom furniture or joinery workshop




Selecting and preparing materials and components for construction
Measure, set out and fabricate fittings as required
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
