PWR is a global leader in advanced cooling solutions, trusted by Formula 1, NASCAR, Supercars, aerospace and high-performance automotive customers worldwide.
As we continue to grow, we are expanding our Aerospace & Defence Engineering team and are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to help deliver innovative, high-performance thermal management solutions for some of the world's most demanding applications.
About the Role
The primary role of the Design Engineer is to take ownership of the design and development of new and existing products, driving engineering solutions that support both customer requirements and manufacturing capability across our Aerospace & Defence business.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will take complex designs from concept through to production and delivery.
Your Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Design Engineer role within the Aerospace and/or Defence industry
Strong capability in 3D CAD modelling and design development
Extensive experience producing and reviewing detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
Working knowledge of GD&T; standards and their practical application
Experience taking products through the full design lifecycle, from concept through validation and production
Ability to work autonomously and provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
