Josil General Engineering Aus Pty Ltd is hiring a Full time Metal Fabricator role in Smeaton Grange, NSW.
Studying engineering drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
Performing MIG, STICK and TIG welding
Operating of milling and lathe machine
Operating automatic pinch rolls machine
Organise and supervise the daily operations of the workshop
Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand tools and 80 tonne brake press machine
Cold saw cutting and guillotine cutting
Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions




Carrying out visual inspection welding reports for quality assurance of our manufactured products
Designing program instructions and developing coding for CNC Bodor i7 laser cutting machine
Gain knowledge of fabricating over 500 different product and follow technical drawings for bespoke products
Drivers license
Key Responsibilities
Take on assigned tasks and learn to manufacture hundreds of different products.
Move between tasks efficiently in a quick paced environment.
Keep a safe working environment
Skill & Experience
Experience required: AQF Certificate III including at least two yearsemployment experience or minimum 3 years employment experience may substitute for qualification;
Excellent welding skills of all types for all materials
