We're looking for an Oral Health Therapist (OHT) to join our team at Knox City Orthodontics.
Whether you're a recent graduate, already working in orthodontics, or coming from a general dental background and ready to specialise, this role offers a transparent and supported pathway into a high-performing specialist environment.
As a key member of our clinical team, you'll work closely with our Orthodontist to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to outstanding treatment outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
Taking diagnostic records, scans,
impressions, and imaging
Assisting with bonding fixed appliances, adjustment appointments, and debanding procedures.
Supporting clear aligner treatment workflows, including bonding/removal of attachments, monitoring patient progression and IPR.
Supporting the Orthodontist with Phase 1 treatment, retention, and emergency appointments
Providing clear, supportive patient education on oral hygiene and treatment compliance
Maintaining accurate, compliant clinical records
Upholding strict infection control and safety standards
Supporting smooth, efficient daily clinical flow in a fast‐paced specialist environment
What you'll bring
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
Confidence working in a structured, fast‐paced clinical environment
Strong communication skills with a genuine patient‐first approach
High attention to detail and strong clinical documentation habits
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required
Motivation to grow and develop specialist orthodontic skills
Previous experience in orthodontics and with digital imaging or radiography systems is a plus
