About the Role and where you'll be working:
Juniper Numbala Nunga in Derby is a well-established facility offering 43 beds of residential and memory support care.
Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support.
We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive workplace for both residents and staff.
As a Registered Nurse, you'll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess residents' needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure high standards of care.
You'll also mentor and support care staff and ensure compliance with AN-ACC assessments to maintain top-quality care delivery.
This is a permanent fulltime contract working a mix of morning and nightshifts.
Key Responsibilities:




Develop and implement tailored care plans for residentsAddress concerns and requests from families and carers in collaboration with the Residential ManagerStay current with aged care documentation requirementsWork with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residentsMentor and support care and service staff, enhancing their performanceIdentify and address training needs for clinical and care staffEnsure compliance with aged care standards and regulations
Key Requirements:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)Experience in delivering clinical care within aged care or healthcare settingsStrong planning, coordination, and mentoring skillsAbility to guide staff in wound management, diabetes care, and medication systemsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills2 years or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care
