Purpose and Main ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the role is to support the Senior Planner with site assessments, due diligence and planning approval activities across GreenPoint Energy's portfolio of early-stage renewable energy (wind, solar and battery) across Australia.
The role requires a person with a passion for working with local communities and Government to build Australia's renewable energy future.Job RequirementsQualifications & Experience0–3 years of experience in town planning, development approvals, or environmental planning, preferably within the renewable energy, , or infrastructure sectors (graduates welcome to apply)Tertiary qualification in Urban/Town Planning, Environmental Science, or a related disciplineDeveloping knowledge of State and Local planning policies, legislation, codes and guidelines and environmental approval processes across Australian jurisdictions, with a willingness to build expertise on the jobSome exposure to liaising with Local and State Government bodies and other authorities/agencies, or a strong interest in developing this experienceEnthusiasm for building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including members of the public and local communitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detailJob ResponsibilitiesRole and ResponsibilitiesYour job responsibilities will be broadly, but not limited to, the below.
