Our hiring process is fair, inclusive, and built for real humans: reach out anytime at ****** RoleDesign workplaces people genuinely want to work in.JasonL Design Studio is expanding, and we're looking for a talentedMid-Level Interior Designer (3–5 years experience)with strong capability acrosscommercial workplace design, office fit-outs, and interior documentation.This role suits a designer who is equally confident developing strong workplace concepts and spatial strategies and delivering detailed,
technically resolved documentation packages.You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle — from early test-fits and concept design through to detailed joinery documentation and project handover.What You'll Be DoingDevelop workplace test-fits, space planning, and office layout strategiesCreate design concepts, mood boards, and client presentationsLead FF&E; selection and workplace materiality developmentProduce detailedtender documentation and construction drawing packagesPrepareaccurate and well-resolved joinery details(not just outline design)Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and buildersHelp shape workplaces that balance design intent, functionality, and commercial outcomesWhat You'll Bring3–5 years' experience incommercial interior design (workplace / office focus)Qualification in Interior Design / Interior ArchitectureStrong experience in office fit-outs and workplace environmentsProven ability inboth design thinking and technical deliveryStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent presentation tools)Confident communicator with strong client presentation skillsA genuine interest in how workplace design influences behavior, productivity, and cultureYou'll Thrive Here If You AreDesign-led, but commercially groundedDetail-oriented and confident in documentation accuracyComfortable moving between concept thinking and technical resolutionSomeone who takes ownership of design intent through to deliveryWhy Join UsJoin a fast-paced, design-focused studio delivering workplace environments across Australia where ideas are expected to be bothcreative and buildable.JasonL acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country.We pay our respects to them and their cultures, and Elders, past, present and future.
