Lifting & Rigging Compliance Inspector & Height Safety InstallerDue to continued business growth, ACE Lifting & Height Safety are expanding our team to add an additional Lifting, Rigging and Height Safety PPE inspector to our Dandenong team.ResponsibilitiesInspection, testing and tagging of our clients' lifting, rigging and height safety equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards relevant to that equipment.Installation and recertification of Height Safety Equipment and installationsUse of industry best-practice online reporting tools, ensuring the requirements of the inspection & testing have been correctly completed.Proof Load testing of lifting equipment, in accordance with various Standards and methodologies using specialist industry specific equipmentManufacture & assembly of items of equipment for customers (custom chain slings, pick/pack/tag customer orders)Maintenance and repairs of equipment in line with vigorous Australian Standards requirements, and industry best practicePersonal attributes and skillsPersonality, personality, personality.
We can and will teach skills and technical aspects of the role, but personality fit to our team and culture is of upmost importanceCan do, positive attitude – fit & healthy,



and not afraid of learning new skills and getting your hands dirtyAbility to work and communicate in a friendly cooperative manner with customers, suppliers and other staff members.Basic computer skills, working with web applications and mobile applications on phone/tabletsA Driver's license is essential.
Forklift, Crane, Height Safety and other HRW certificates desirable but not essentialAn eye for detail and knowledge retention and a passion for health & safetyStructured induction and formal training in all aspects of the work will be provided in accordance with our NATA accreditation requirements.Works are performed on both customer sites and in our Dandenong warehouse & workshop.
Majority of works conducted during your training phase will be located at our Dandenong facility.Occasional travel and overnight stays to rural customers may be requiredA National Police Check is required as part of this role, as is a medical clearance.Extremely competitive hourly rate, plus overtime, uniform and phone.
