N SQUARE MIGRATION CONSULTANCY PTY LTD Company Name: Skemar Unit Trust T/A Tigo Tavern Location: Clyde, VIC Position: Chef Salary range: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation Work type: Full time Tigo Tavern is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our busy kitchen team on a full time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and plating a wide variety of sports bar dishes like Tacos, Pork Gyoza, Calamari, Cheesesteak Sandwich, Tropical Burger, etc.




Planning menus as per the restaurant’s requirements, including Chicken Parma, Balkan Beef Cevapi, Old Delhi Style Butter Chicken, Nasi Goreng, etc as listed in the menu.
Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies accordingly
Discussing food preparation issues with managers and all other relevant staff
Preparing and cooking food according to hygiene regulations
Responsible for freezing and preserving foods
Training the cooks and/or new staff as required.
Any other relevant duty as directed by management.

What Skills and Knowledge do I need?
Relevant trade qualifications
Relevant experience of 3 years or more may replace formal qualification requirements
Proactive attitude with good communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
