Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Orthopaedic & NeurosurgeryThe Associate Nurse Unit Manager of Florey ward will be responsible for managing our Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical specialties both elective and emergency within a 30 bed ward.The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), incorporates assisting with the management and administration of the unit in conjunction with the facilitation of best practice nursing standards and care.Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager of Florey, the successful applicant will act as both a leader and a clinical resource in this acute setting, while directly contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures appropriate to the unit and the hospital.The success profile and key accountabilities of this position include:Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in providing strong, effective leadership, and change management strategies within the Florey wardEnsure the career development and support of the staffDelivery of safe, effective, direct and indirect, patient centered care throughout the continuum of care from point of admission to discharge.Facilitation of the Australian Clinical Health Standards,
